How To Cash In On ECE

Emerald City Eats (“ECE”) posts daily deals (individually “Deal” or collectively “Deals”)) offered exclusively through ECE by Seattle and King County merchants (“Offering Merchant”).  The Deals are described in the Deal Descriptions including:

  • The “Terms of the Deal” (e.g. $25 of food for $10), and any restrictions set by the Offering Merchant;
  • Directions for purchasing the Deal through our third party credit card processor.
  • Directions for redeeming the Deal (e.g. print the voucher or receive gift card).

When you purchase a Deal, you will be asked to create an account. The account you create will provide you with easy access to print your orders, view your past purchases and modify your preferences. The only information we store in our secured network is your name, email address, purchase history and preferences (“Personal Information”).  All credit card information is processed by and handled through the third party processor.  We share only your name, member number and voucher number with the Offering Merchant whose voucher you purchase.  We may ask a third party provider to perform marketing analysis based on your Personal Information, but this will be for our internal analysis only and the third party provider will be restricted from otherwise using or transferring your Personal Information.  Internal analysis based in part on your Personal Information may be used for our business purposes, but only in such a way as to not divulge your Personal Information.  We do not share or sell your personal information with any other entity.

ECE provides you the opportunity to purchase the Deal, receives the payment and provides you the redemption document (“Voucher”).  ECE then sends the Offering Merchant the agreed upon payment and your voucher number.  At this point ECE has no further involvement in the transaction and you look solely to the Offering Merchant to receive the Deal.

Terms and Conditions for Restaurant-Specific Certificates

  • Voucher can be redeemed one time only.  You are responsible for the protection of the Voucher number.  Once a Voucher number is used, it cannot be used again.
  • The Offering Merchant decides whether pre paid discount vouchers can be combined with any other restaurant certificates, third party certificates, coupons, or promotions.  Check the Deal Description and your Voucher for details.
  • Voucher cannot be used for alcoholic beverages, taxes, tips, prior balances, shipping or handling charges unless otherwise stated.
  • Voucher is valid for dine-in only unless otherwise stated.
  • Any attempted redemption not consistent with these terms & conditions will render the Voucher void.
  • Void to the extent prohibited by law.
  • Applicable law may affect the Offering Merchants’ redemption process (e.g. cash back, expiration dates and fees).  An expiration date noted on the Voucher applies to the expiration date for the discount.  The value paid for the Voucher does not expire and can be redeemed with the Offering Merchant.
